Coming in December!
Movement and Mysteries with Mary
Join us on Saturday, December 7 at 11:30 for a unique and transformative experience as we come together to pray the rosary while moving mindfully. This special class invites participants to engage in a holistic practice that beautifully intertwines spiritual devotion and physical movement. As we recite the full rosary, our instructor, Mary, will guide us through each prayer while incorporating gentle yoga poses. Whether you are new to the rosary or have prayed it for years, you are welcome to join us—no prior knowledge is required!
BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! WE HAD SO MUCH FUN AT THE FIRST CLASS, WE’VE ADDED A HOLIDAY HEELS CLASS! Register on the schedule!
TEACHER HIGHLIGHT - MEET CHRISTINA!
I’ve been practicing yoga for about 17 years. I started off using it as a form of exercise but quickly realized it was just as beneficial to my mind, as it was to my body. It has taught me to live in the present. When I became a mom of three young children, I noticed it became increasingly more difficult to be present, with my mind going a million different ways. One time, my son was telling me a story as we were driving home from school and he stopped to ask if I was listening to him. My heart sank. My mind was already on my to-do list for what needed to be done when we got home - and he could tell. I’ll never forget that question. Yoga has helped those moments of mental chaos become fewer and farther in between. I decided to change my Monday evening class to “Power Flow with Mindful Meditation” so we can challenge ourselves physically while practicing to sharpen ourselves mentally. The breath helps anchor us to the present moment so we can be aware of all the beautiful blessings right before us. Join me Mondays at 6:15pm.
