Teaching for: 7 years
Why I love it: Being a yoga teacher is profoundly fulfilling because it transforms a solitary practice into a shared journey of growth and discovery. There is a subtle magic in watching a student find their center, witnessing that steadying of both body and mind, and realizing you helped light the way. These relationships turn a studio into a community, making every class an opportunity to exchange energy, offer support, and celebrate the incredible resilience of being human together.
What I do outside of class: Honestly? You'll usually find me at the office. I work a ton, but I actually adore my team and the culture there, so I don't mind the intense hustle.
Fun fact about me: My husband is Canadian, and our story began back in 1999 when he took a quick weekend trip to the States with friends. Little did we know that "quick trip" would change everything. We spent five years navigating a long-distance relationship across the border, and even after we wed, it took another year of immigration hurdles before he was finally permitted to move here. Marrying him was, without a doubt, the best decision I’ve ever made.
Post class go to (snack or food): Almonds
Favorite flow song: My absolute favorite song is Here with Me – Susie Suh followed by Loss – Phoria.
